Coach Jackie McBroom
Jackie McBroom will be going into his 5th season as the GHS head baseball coach, coming off a Final 8 appearance in 2019 and 2017. Coach McBroom spent 4 years as the head baseball coach at Lincoln HS where they were city runner up 3 of the 4 years. McBroom also coached as an assistant at Golden from 2006-2009 which included a final 8 appearance in the playoffs. He grew up playing baseball in Texas before playing college baseball at Kansas Wesleyan University. He is married to Cindy McBroom and they have 2 sons, Trey and Brody.

Coach Chip Glass
Chip grew up playing baseball in Northern California before playing college baseball at Santa Rosa J.C.. It was there that he met his wife, Tina, of 23 yrs. They have 2 children, Chloe 17 and Brady 15. After Santa Rosa he received a baseball scholarship to Oklahoma University where he played for 2 seasons and was part of the 1994 National Championship team. He was drafted and played minor league baseball with the Cleveland Indians and New York Yankees organizations. The Glass family has lived in Golden since 2004. They love the community and are very excited about helping out with the Golden High School program.
Coach Steve Brouwer
Steve Brouwer is entering his 10th season at GHS. He has coached the Level 3 team for the 7 years finishing in the top 4 in the American division the 3 seasons and is entering his second season as the JV head coach. Steve is a Golden native graduating from GHS in 1987 where he played varsity baseball for 3 years.
Steve started coaching youth baseball in Golden in 2008 as a head coach for 5 years and an assistant for 3 years. He took over as the Level 3 Director and head coach in 2010 taking pride in helping to build the program from the bottom up. Steve took on the additional role as the GJBA Equipment/Uniform Director in 2015. He has also played and managed in the NABA since 2001.
Coach Eli Thornquist
Coach Gunnar Fulcomer
Coach Gunnar is entering his first season at GHS. Gunnar has played baseball since the age of 4 starting with Golden Junior baseball and eventually graduating from Arvada high school. He went to college at the Metropolitan State university of Denver where he played Baseball on the club team. He then Transferred to the University of Hawaii at Hilo where he was a pitcher for 2 years. Coach Gunnar will be working with the catchers helping them improve and fine tune their skills and constantly challenge them to get better every day.
